Stywall 45 is an acoustic isolation strip or acoustic wall bearing designed to provide the perfect structural junction for the Mustwall 33B panel and subsequent plasterboard layer. The products are made up of SBR rubber granules that have been highly compressed. Stywall 45 comes in 20m rolls and is 3mm thick. Stywall 45 can also be used as an acoustic isolation strip that is placed on top of floor joists to provide an acoustic barrier between the joists and plywood sub-floors.

Installation

– Ensure the surface is dry and free from dust.
– Position the Stywall 45 self adhesive strip on the floor.
– Rest the Mustwall 33B panel and plasterboard on the strip.
– When using Stywall 33B between the plasterboard layers, place the Stywall strips between the Mustwall plastic fixings.
